Is PartHive free?

Yes. The Free plan supports up to 2 rooms and 5 storage units, full component search, and data export. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited storage, low-stock alerts, advanced search, and analytics.

Does PartHive work on mobile?

Yes. Native apps for iOS and Android sync with the web app in real time. Use your phone at a supplier or workbench and the web app when you're at your main computer.

How is my data organized?

PartHive uses a hierarchical model that mirrors a physical workshop: Rooms → Storage Units → Drawers → Bins → Components. Each component has a full location path so you always know where to find it.

Can I import my existing inventory?

Yes. PartHive supports CSV import for bulk component loading, which works well if you're migrating from a spreadsheet, PartsBox, or another inventory tool.

Can I export my data?

Yes, on every plan including Free. Export your full inventory to JSON or CSV at any time. Your data stays yours.

Is my data secure?

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with encryption at rest. Authentication uses industry-standard password hashing. PartHive is GDPR-compliant and offers full data export and deletion on request.

Does PartHive support barcode scanning?

Component lookup and label scanning are supported on the mobile apps. Web users can use manufacturer part numbers directly in search.

How do low-stock alerts work?

Set a minimum quantity threshold per component. When stock drops below the threshold, PartHive sends a notification via email or push. Available on Pro.

Can multiple people share an inventory?

Personal accounts are designed for a single maker. Team and organization-level sharing is on the roadmap.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel at any time from the subscription page in your account. You'll retain Pro features until the end of the billing period, then revert to Free.
